A ‘See-Him’ Anointing!

“My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will “look up” (tsaphah) Psalm 5: 3

The word for today is ‘tsaphah’ pronounced ‘saf-fa’. It sounds a bit like ‘so far’ but nothing could be farther from the truth!

Tsaphah means:

“to lean forward, i.e. to peer into the distance; by implication, to observe, await:—behold, espy, look up (well), wait for, (keep the) watch(-man).” See Jeremiah 6: 17

What this means for us is when we are in trouble, walking through a difficult season, or dealing with struggles in our relationships etc., rather than looking down, or looking around, or looking inward through an analytical, natural or emotional lens, we should look up (tsaphah) to The Father for His perspective so we can See Him!

You see, He watches over us to perform His good and perfect will in our lives. He is for us; not against us! He truly desires to work All things together for our good but that depends on us to a large degree!

When we lean into Him and change how, what and WHO we look at, he gives us a Prophetic perspective. Without a ‘vision’ i.e., the Father’s view (tsaphah) we perish – go back and dismiss Him altogether in some area!

18 Where there is no vision, the people perish (para): but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29: 18

pâraʻ: to loosen; by implication, to expose, dismiss; figuratively, absolve, begin:—avenge, avoid, bare, go back, let, (make) naked, set at nought, perish, refuse, uncover.

How we see difficult things determines how long we remain in that situation. The “vision- tsaphah” for our lives, for those in close proximity to us dictates our deliverance and understanding in that situation!

Tsaphah will lift us out of depression, discouragement or a “natural view” and shift us to a “supernatural view”. This shift in perspective will cause us to see things as a watchman rather than a victim!

Selah and glory to God!
